On 18 and 19 August 2021, Prof. Dr Peter Heck, Executive Director of IfaS, attended the International Circular Economy Conference(Cumbre Mundial de Economía Circular) in the city of Córdoba, Argentina.
During the two-day conference, a large number of international experts from more than 17 countries presented current circular economy strategies and approaches for optimising resource use and discussed them using best-practice examples. The event provided ample space for professional exchange and discussion, for example on the role of the circular economy in creating new business models and increasing regional value-added effects.
IfaS has been advising and supporting the city and province of Córdoba in the development of their long-term circular economy strategy for several years.
